Job description

Class 2 Driver

Location: Maidstone

Salary: Up to GBP30,000 DOE + Overtime

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (40-hour week)

Role Overview:

Our well-established client is looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team. You will be delivering materials across the Southeast, representing the company professionally. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be competent in driving and operating vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the vehicle safely on roads and on-site
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness
• Ensure timely deliveries adhering to ETA's
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and complete paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions
• Assist with ad-hoc duties within the yard when not driving or loading

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 license
• Up-to-date CPC
• Tachograph card
• No more than 3 points on license
• Flexible, reliable, and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
