Job summary

Booker, part of the BEST team in the UK, is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our logistics network. You will drive multi-drop deliveries, complete delivery notes, and ensure compliance with driving legislation.

This role requires a current LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card, readiness for manual handling, and punctual, safe delivery to outlets.

Working hours are 48 hours per week, 4 days per week, with shifts starting between 1.30am and 6.30am.

• Essential: LGV Class 2 licence and valid CPC card.
• Willingness to perform multi-drop deliveries and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full.
• Complete delivery notes, credits and collections.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures.
• Maintain food safety standards and chill chain.
• Ensure LGV vehicle checks and defect book completion.
• Collect empty equipment and assist shift management.

About the role

We operate the UK's ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute products to the nation's best loved food and drink brands every single day and provide the best experience to our customers.

This is a demanding but rewarding role which involves manual handling and multi-drop deliveries. You should therefore be confident to drive and deliver to various outlets throughout the UK.

Working Hours:

48hours per week, working 4 days per week.

Available shift patterns:

Wednesday to Saturday

Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Start times vary between 1.30am to 6.30am

You will be responsible for

• Deliver products to our customers, intact, on time and in full as per the delivery schedule
• Completion of documentation such as delivery notes, credits, and collections
• Adhere to all Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and other's Health and Safety
• Full compliance of Food safety Legislation and Chill Chain Standards
• Ensure LGV is maintained and safe e.g., safety checks and completion of defect book
• Collect all empty equipment from the customer
• Cooperate fully with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties as directed by the Shift Management team

You will need

It is essential that you hold a current LGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
