Bennett & Game Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Fuel Driver to join one of our key clients operating nationwide within the infrastructure and surfacing industry, based out of a Stevenage depot. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to support multi-drop fuel deliveries to active construction and surfacing sites across the UK.

Class 2 Driver Job Overview

• Deliver fuel and materials to various job sites in line with daily delivery schedules.
• Load and unload fuel safely to avoid damage or spillage.
• Complete pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Maintain communication with site teams to confirm delivery details.
• Keep accurate records, including delivery notes and discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain fuel stock levels at the depot.
• Ensure all waste handling complies with duty of care and legal obligations.

Class 2 Driver Job Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Flexibility to work a mixture of days and nights.
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes effectively.

Salary & Benefits

• Daily rate: £160 - £235 per day (dependent on experience).
• Monday - Friday, 10 hours per day, including days and nights.
