About the role

As a multi-drop Class 2 Driver for Matthew Clark, you will deliver orders to customer premises efficiently and courteously, ensuring safety and on-time, in-full delivery.

Position details:

• Full-time, permanent
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak periods (e.g., Christmas, major sporting events)

You will deliver products within a designated area from the depot, assisted by a Driver’s Mate. Excellent customer service is essential, with every order delivered carefully, friendly, and on schedule.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of driving experience and be willing to undergo DVLA license checks.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Vehicle inspections
• Securing and packaging customer orders for delivery
• Coordinating with your Driver’s Mate on delivery details
• Communicating delays or issues to customers
• Unloading orders at customer premises
• Handling returns of empty kegs and pallets, and storing them properly at the depot
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Completing paperwork, EPOD, and administrative tasks
• Communicating with transport management regarding vehicle issues and delays
• Complying with tachograph legislation

About you

You have over three years of driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving. You hold a valid HGV and CPC license, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred but not essential; adaptability is key.
