Overview

HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver + Nights out
Location: Gloucester
Shift Pattern: 5:30 / 06:00am starts Monday to Friday + nights out. 8 hours guaranteed per day
Pay Rate: £14.89 per hour + £22.33 Overtime (after 8 hours) + £25 allowance for nights out.
Contract Type: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal doors to customers, including building sites and builders\' merchants around Gloucester and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all goods are strapped and secure before leaving sites.
• Make 8-12 drops per day across the Gloucester area.
• Collect and sign required paperwork.
• Unload the vehicle by handballing or using sack barrows when required; vehicles are loaded for you.
• Complete deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
• Carry out standard safety checks and adhere to safety protocols and company standards while operating the vehicle.
• Be prepared to nights out up to 3 times per week, with a £25 allowance for each night out.

Requirements

• Full HGV Class 2 UK Driving Licence.
• Pass a half-day assessment & induction to carry out this assignment.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience is ideal (not essential).
• Manual Handling will be required at times.
• No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network, particularly London.
