Job summary

Movianto / Walden Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 2 Driver to support our transport operations. You will be the face of our service at every drop-off, ensure compliance with licences and tachograph rules, and maintain vehicle presentation.

Working Mon-Fri, 7:00–16:15 (42.5 hours/week), salary £33,341.15 per annum. No weekend or bank holiday work. Benefits include pension contributions, life assurance and access to health and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 2 (C) licence and a full UK driving licence.
• No formal education requirements stated.

Responsibilities

• Face of our service at every drop-off point and professional with customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Deliver within the distribution area and undertake other areas as required.
• Adhere to drivers hours and tachograph regulations.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Wear safety and company uniforms at all times.

To carry out duties within MoviantoUK transport operations to a standard that satisfies MoviantoUK quality expectations. To follow the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and company requirements for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.

• By showing flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area.
• Carrying out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
• What it will take to thrive at as a Class 2 Driver at Movianto:
• Operating company vehicles providing appropriate licences (Class 2 (C) license and full UK drivers licence) and authorisations are current.
• Abiding by statutory and legal requirements with relation to driver's hours and tachograph regulations.
• Dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Wearing at all times safety and company uniforms as provided.
