Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Class 2 Driver in the UK to join a beverage distribution operation. Deliveries are to pubs, hotels and licensed venues, with a 5:00am start, Monday to Friday, on a temporary basis.

You will maintain high customer service, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. A valid Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card and at least 6 months’ Class 2 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC card and tachograph card valid.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver beverages to pubs, hotels and licensed venues.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery.
• Adhere to road laws, tachograph rules and drivers' hours.

Temporary Role

We are currently recruiting a hardworking, reliable and motivated Class 2 Driver to join a well-established beverage distribution business.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering beverages to a range of hospitality establishments, including pubs, hotels and other licensed venues. We are looking for a professional driver with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to safe and efficient deliveries.

The Class 2 Driver Role

• Start time of 5:00am.
• Monday to Friday.
• Delivering beverages to a wide range of locations, including pubs, hotels and hospitality venues.
• Completing multiple deliveries per route.
• Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhering to all road traffic laws, tachograph rules and drivers' hours and working time regulations.

Requirements for the Class 2 HGV Driver Role

• Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Minimum of 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC card.
• Valid digital tachograph card.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
