We're recruiting for Class 2 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers' stores.

Our Class 2 jobs require handball and manual work, which can be physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions and handballing products at some delivery points.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate air-conditioned vehicles
• Enjoy a 30-minute paid break
• Keep your CPC updated with training provided
• Additional responsibilities will be discussed upon application

Our drivers are a vital part of our business. You’ll drive your vehicle to our Retailers’ stores and deliver caged goods. You may also take backhauls to the depot on your return. This role is manual, so physical ability to move cages and lift goods is required.

We are looking for experienced Class 2 drivers based at our Booker Retail Partners site. The role offers 40 - 45 hours per week with 8 or 10-hour shifts available.

Requirements:

• Class 2 Licence Holder
• Driver CPC Holder
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries; temperature-controlled food deliveries preferred but not essential
• Availability to work 48 hours a week (overtime available)
• Flexibility in work hours and routes, including short-notice changes
