Job summary

Swift Recruitment is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to start ASAP near Ely, Cambridgeshire. You will handle local and occasional long-distance drops, with early starts and Monday–Friday shifts. Comprehensive CPC training and ongoing development opportunities are provided.

You'll enjoy weekly payments, the potential to go permanent for the right candidate, and a supportive team culture. A valid CPC, Digi-Tacho, and in-date driving license are essential, with good English communication.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driver with at least 1 year of experience.
• Digi-Tacho card, CPC, and valid driving license all in date.
• Good level of English communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 vehicles with a can-do attitude and meet daily targets.
• Complete local drops, hub runs, and occasional long distance work.
• Maintain safety, comply with CPC/Digi-Tacho regulations and company standards.

We require Class 2 Drivers to start ASAP near Ely for ongoing work. Brilliant opportunity to build a career with a very respected client, with lots of hours available and a high rate of pay up to £22.02 an hour along with an opportunity to go perm for the right candidate that proves themselves. You can also work on your own leisure and time! Give us your availability each week and we'll make it work!

Salary: £17.42 - £22.02 per hour
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Work type: Class 2 Driver
Work hours: 0700 AM starts
Shift Type: Monday - Friday

Job Description:

• Hardworking and dedicated Class 2 Driver with a can-do attitude, who is willing to learn new things.
• Customer focused worker who's able to manage their own work to meet deadlines as well as maintaining performance standards.
• The successful Class 2 Driver must have a good level of English communication with customers and client
• Valid and in date CPC and Digi-Tacho Card
• Local drops, Hub Runs, Long distance, 3-7 drops a day. Each day varies but general feedback from all of our drivers is brilliant!

Key Requirements:

• Class 2 experience atleast 1 year
• DIGI - tacho card, CPC, Driving License all in date
