Pay

Pay is £16.25 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.

Hours

Work is Monday to Friday, 06:00 am start time. 8 hours per shift are guaranteed.

Location

Position based in Coventry (CV6). The role is commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas.

Role Responsibilities

The Class 2 Driver will complete multi‑drop runs of steel components. Duties include

• Strapping and securing loads after each delivery
• Handball for deliveries where an FLT is not available
• Performing vehicle checks and defect paperwork

Candidate Qualifications

• Class 2/LGV C licence entitlement
• Valid CPC and tachograph
• Previous HGV experience preferred but not essential
• Over 25 years of age for insurance purposes
• Calm under pressure, excellent customer service, communication skills
• Attention to detail essential
