Pertemps Heathrow is recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) Flatbed Driver for its Colnbrook operation, with regular deliveries into Heathrow Airport. The role offers a permanent contract, Monday–Friday work, and a starting salary of £38,000.

Based in Colnbrook, the driver will transport equipment from the depot to various Heathrow locations; airside vetting is required for access. An airside pass increases earning potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) driving licence.
• 5 years' continuous UK work history / vetting history to meet airside security requirements.
• Ability to complete the 5 year vetting process.
• Good geographical knowledge of Heathrow area advantageous.
• Physical ability to assist with loading/unloading equipment.

Class 2 Flatbed Driver

Location: Colnbrook / Heathrow

Salary: £38,000 per annum to start

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 starts

Pertemps Heathrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Flatbed Driver to join a well-established logistics and equipment hire operation based in Colnbrook, with regular deliveries into Heathrow Airport.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a professional Class 2 driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday role, with the opportunity to increase their earning potential once they have obtained the necessary airside pass.

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of a range of equipment, small tools and plant hire from the company's Colnbrook depot to various locations across Heathrow Airport.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
• Delivering and collecting equipment, tools and plant hire
• Regular deliveries into Heathrow Airport and airside environments
• Loading, securing and unloading equipment safely
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured and transported safely
• Following all site, airport and company safety procedures

Requirements

• A valid Class 2 (C) driving licence
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• 5 years' continuous UK work history / vetting history to meet airside security requirements
• The ability to successfully complete the required 5 year vetting process
• Good geographical knowledge of the Heathrow and surrounding areas is advantageous
• The physical ability to assist with the loading/unloading of equipment and tools

Salary & Progression

£38,000 starting salary

Salary increase available once the required airside pass has been obtained
