Job Advert is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a Monday to Friday role in Broxbourne. The position involves delivering and collecting to customer sites with occasional overnight stays during the week.

The candidate should hold a UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and be comfortable with tramping. Customer service and reliability are essential attributes for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Overnight stays and willingness to tramp during the week.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect and deliver to and from customer sites.
• Load and unload the vehicle using the correct manual handling procedures.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections safely, on time and efficiently.
• Overnight stays / tramping as required as part of the role.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly.
• Maintain a professional and positive approach when dealing with customers.

ROLE: Class 2 Driver

LOCATION: Broxbourne

HOURS: Monday to Friday - Tramping / Overnight Stays Required

SALARY: £17ph

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client's successful team.

This is a Monday to Friday Class 2 driving role involving deliveries and collections to customer sites, with overnight stays required during the week. This would suit a Class 2 Driver who is comfortable with tramping and enjoys the opportunity to work away during the week.

DUTIES OF A CLASS 2 DRIVER:

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect and deliver to and from customer sites.

Load and unload the vehicle using the correct manual handling procedures.

Complete scheduled deliveries and collections safely, on time and efficiently.

Overnight stays / tramping as required as part of the role.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

Ensure all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly.

Maintain a professional and positive approach when dealing with customers.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU:

Valid UK Class 2 driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on your licence.

Previous Class 2 driving experience desired.

Comfortable with overnight stays and working away during the week.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Reliable and professional approach to work.
