Backline Avonmouth are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver on for a temp to perm role in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Typically, your shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, with your shift starting at 0600am.

A Moffett qualification would be highly advantageous, however not essential as full training will be given for the right candidate.

About You:
You will have held your Class 2 for a minimum of 1 year
Maximum 6 points for minor offences
Experience essential
Looking for appreciation and a good team ethic
A good knowledge and experience of driving all types of trucks
Eager to learn new skills
An appreciation of good customer service
Moffett ticket and experience an advantage
General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Completing all relevant paperwork for deliveries and/or collections as required
Ensuring daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed
Liaising with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the work you have been allocated
Adhering to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations
Maintaining accurate driving hours, working time and rest period/break records using the appropriate method (digital tachograph)
