Job summary

M4 Specialist is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Barnsley. You will deliver tables and chairs across the UK, with regular nights out and strong earning potential. Immediate starts, temp to perm opportunity, weekly pay.

Role involves manual handling, loading/unloading, and ensuring vehicle checks and paperwork are completed to a high standard. Prior multidrop or furniture delivery experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (for minor offences only).
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally.
• Delivering tables and chairs to customer sites nationwide.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations.
• Completing regular nights out (typically 3-4 per week).

£14.50ph + £22.50 Night Out Allowance + £10 Meal Allowance paid by Client | Weekly Pay | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Looking for long-term, ongoing Class 2 driving work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? M4 Specialist is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Barnsley.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business delivering tables and chairs across the UK, with regular nights out and excellent earning potential.

Start Times:

• Between 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM
• Monday to Friday

The Role for a Class 2 Driver:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering tables and chairs to customers nationwide. This is a physically demanding role and will involve manual handling as part of the delivery process.

What You'll Be Doing as a Class 2 Driver:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering tables and chairs to customer sites
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations
• Completing regular nights out (typically 3-4 per week)

What We're Looking For from a Class 2 Driver:

• A positive and professional attitude
• Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills
