• Knowledge of the Highway Code and health and safety legislation.
• Experience in customer service and manual handling preferred, training provided.

Class 2 Driver

Blackburn, BB1 2PT

Permanent

48 Hours per week. Working predominately on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility required to work in 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary between 4am and 9am.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Class 2 Driver. Reporting to the Transport Manager this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

·Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.

·Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.

·Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.

·Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.

·Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

·A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.

·Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.

·Knowledge of local region.

·Customer service

·Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
