Job summary

HireGiant Ltd in Belper, Derbyshire, is looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver (LGV2) for ongoing LGV work with our client. You will make deliveries using a LGV2 box or curtain vehicle and ensure delivery paperwork is in order, performing vehicle checks as needed.

Shifts are Monday to Friday starting around 06:00 with 10–12 hour days. PAYE rate is £16.95–£17.08 per hour, with weekly pay and supportive consultants for ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 driving licence (LGV2).
• Must have CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Safety boots and high-visibility clothing required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods using LGV2 box or curtain vehicle.
• Complete pre- and post-delivery checks and ensure paperwork is in order.
• Adhere to WTD and EU Tachograph rules while driving the vehicle.
• Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with 10–12 hour days.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing LGV work. The work is general haulage and some pallet network runs.

The Role:

• Making goods deliveries using a LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle
• Work is simple B2B and Some C&D work 5-7 hits per day.
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 9-12 hours

Requirements:

• Class 2 licence entitlement
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
• New passes welcome

Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00am Start

Shift Length - 10-12 hours

£16.95 - 17.08 per hour PAYE - (Monday to Friday)
