Job summary

Booker in Worcester is seeking drivers to join a local delivery team, providing a friendly, reliable service to customers while building relationships. You will drive locally, load stock at the branch and unload at customer sites, ensuring accurate paperwork and on-time deliveries.

This 7 day operation may include weekend work, with fully funded CPC training hours and overtime opportunities available to support career development.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Experience driving locally and building relationships with customers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally as part of a delivery team and ensure on-time, courteous service.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately to reflect deliveries and customer interactions.
• Support regular customers and branches to keep shelves stocked.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
