Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Class 2 Multi-Drop Delivery Driver for the Paddock Wood operation in the South East. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods to restaurants, pubs, hotels and other customers on a planned multi-drop route.

This permanent, full-time role offers a strong salary (£47,340.02 per year) and secure employment with regular customer contact. You will be active on the job, unloading at customer premises and keeping to driver hours and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Safe and professional driving approach.
• Good customer service skills.
• Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle on a planned multi-drop route.
• Deliver to restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools and other customers.
• Unload products safely using cages and handling equipment.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with Transport and Warehouse teams.
• Adhere to all legal, safety and drivers' hours regulations.

Class 2 Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

Location: Bidfood Paddock Wood
Salary: £47,340.02 per year
Shift Pattern: Full Time
Start Times: Early starts, with shifts based around our delivery operation

We're looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our team at Bidfood Paddock Wood.

This is a well-paid, permanent driving role with a large, established business. You'll have regular customer contact and a job where you're trusted to get on with the day rather than spending your shift sitting around waiting for work.

Its multi-drop foodservice delivery, so it's active and fast-paced, but for the right driver it offers a strong salary, job security and a role where your contribution genuinely matters.

What you'll be doing

You'll deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to a range of customers across the South East.

Your day will include:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on a planned multi-drop route
• Delivering directly to restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools and other customers
• Unloading products safely using cages and other handling equipment
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing deliveries accurately and efficiently
• Working closely with our Transport and Warehouse teams
• Following all legal, safety and drivers' hours requirements

What we're looking for

You'll need:

• A valid Category C / Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A safe and professional approach to driving
• Good customer service skills
• Reliability and a willingness to work as part of the wider team

Previous multi-drop or foodservice experience is useful, but it isn't everything. We're looking for drivers with the right attitude who take pride in doing a good job and looking after their customers.

This is a hands-on driving role

Our drivers don't just drive from A to B. You'll be unloading throughout the day and delivering directly into customer premises, so you'll need to be comfortable with a physically active job.

In return, you'll get a role with variety, independence and regular customer relationships rather than spending every day doing the same run between depots.
