Job summary

Warburtons is seeking a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver for its distribution network in the UK. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with early starts around 03:30–04:00 and a 43-hour week across a rotating 5-day pattern, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load your own vehicle with baked goods at the depot or on the move.
• Deliver to multiple customers daily and maintain professional relationships.
• Accurately pick orders from delivery notes or an electronic device.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Highway Code; relay faults on defect forms.

• Hours: 43 hours per week, starting between 03:30 and 04:00

The Recipe

• You’ll receive a 6-week induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
• You’ll be an early riser—shifts start around 03:30 (some patterns may vary). The upside? Your afternoons are all yours.
• You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy. You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your own vehicle with our baked goods—either at the depot or on the move.
• To help keep your day smooth and safe, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code, etc.) will be key in order to relay faults on defect forms.
• Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, you’re off!
• You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily (they’re like family to us), so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must. This includes being able to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
• You’ll work a defined rotating 5-day pattern, including weekends. That’s 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less. All of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.
