Warburtons Enfield Bakery is hiring a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join our busy distribution team. The role operates on a 4 on 2 off pattern with early starts around 03:30 and involves delivering to multiple customers with autonomy and pride in our brand.

You’ll load your own vehicle from the depot or on the move, pick orders accurately from notes or an electronic device, and stay professional as a brand ambassador. Weekly pay included.

Formación

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement.
• Full Driver CPC.

Responsabilidades

• Load your own vehicle from the depot or on the move and deliver to multiple customers daily.
• Accurately pick orders from delivery notes or an electronic device and load the vehicle.
• Maintain top-notch service, build strong relationships, and act as an ambassador for the Warburtons brand.
• Manage routes, use onboard computer, and relay faults on defect forms as needed.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Highway Code.

The Recipe

• You’ll receive a 6-week induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
• You’ll be an early riser—shifts start around 03:30 (some patterns may vary). The upside? Your afternoons are all yours.
• You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy. You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accuratelypick the ordersand load your own vehicle with our baked goods—either at the depot or on the move.
• To help keep your day smooth and safe, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code, etc.) will be key in order to relay faults on defect forms.
• Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, you’re off!
• You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily (they’re like family to us), so top‑notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must. This includes being able to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
• You’ll work a defined rotating 5‑day pattern, including weekends. That’s 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less. All of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.

You’ll also make sure each delivery is picked accurately and in full from your delivery notes or electronic device. Our Enfield Bakery and Distribution site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe! We have 5 operating plants and around 500 colleagues who work a variety of shift patterns. At Enfield we have 40 different nationalities working together, and we celebrate our One Team family values. Our site runs 363 days of the year and operates 24/7!

Based in Brimsdown in North London, 15 minutes from M25, 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown overground, connected easily to Liverpool Street Station via Tottenham Hale.

We produce over 4.8 million crumpets per week, which is equivalent to 800,000 packets of 6 as well as producing a variety of other products. The Home of the Giant Crumpet, did you know there are 350 holes in a standard crumpet?
