Job summary

Berry Recruitment are seeking experienced Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join a national alcohol drinks supplier based in Eastleigh. The role is temp to permanent, Monday to Friday, start between 5am and 7am, with roughly 10 hours per day and a 1 hour lunch break.

You will be delivering multi-drop loads with a driver’s mate, handling alcohol and complying with health and safety procedures. Induction includes a Class 2 driving assessment and training on company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC and Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence; DR or IN not accepted.
• Newly qualified drivers accepted but must have no more than 6 points and no DR or IN.

Responsibilities

• Driving the Class 2 vehicle.
• Multi-drop deliveries with a driver’s mate (average ~12 per day).
• Handle alcohol during deliveries.
• Some heavy lifting.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times.

Job description

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Delivery Drivers to work for a national alcohol drinks supplier based in Eastleigh.

This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday - start time between 5am and 7am working roughly 10 hours a day with 1 hour lunch break.

The hourly pay rate is £16.76.

This is all multi drop work with a drivers mate.

You will need to be available for an induction asap - this will include a class 2 driving assessment and training on the company procedures and health & safety.

Main Duties:

• Driving the class 2 vehicle
• Multi -drop an average of 12 deliveries per day with a driver's mate
• Drivers are expected to handle alcohol in the deliveries
• Will include some heavy lifting.
• Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times

Please note they are happy to accept newly qualified drivers but must have no more 6 points and no DR or IN.
