Job summary

TLP Recruitment is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 driver on a temp-to-perm basis. Immediate starts available for driving across Kent, London and surrounding areas with 05:30–06:00 start times.

Offers include £16.23/hour, guaranteed 45 paid hours per week, Mon-Fri (no weekend work), overtime paid in addition to contracted hours, weekly pay while temporary and monthly pay once permanent, plus a company pension and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Ideally 12+ months Class 2 experience (though right attitude also considered).
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements

Responsibilities

• HGV Class 2 multi-drop deliveries.
• Delivering across Kent, London and surrounding areas.
• Start times between 05:30 and 06:00.
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
• Manage routes efficiently and communicate with the transport team
