Job summary

Manpower UK in Carlisle is recruiting a Class 2 ADR driver. You will deliver high-quality service, operate in accordance with client standards, and help maintain safe, professional trucking operations.

The role offers £17.13–£24.39 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly, weekend/overtime rates, paid holidays and training. Training for ADR class 2 tanks may be provided; start ASAP with potential to go permanent.

• ADR licence in class 2 in tanks (Potential training available)
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Join our client's team atCarlisle and enjoy:

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, weekend and overtime rates of £24.39 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.
Yearly Bonuses: Earn up to £1000 every 6 months
Shifts:Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm (Occasional Weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card

• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Details:

• Experienced Class 2 drivers who don't hold a current ADR but would potentially like to be trained in this should apply.
• The role is due to start ASAP and will run until around the end of April 2027 (weather dependant) - Potential option of going permanent .
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
