Job summary

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is seeking a Building Control Inspector to assess building regulation applications and carry out site inspections across Richmond and Wandsworth.

The role requires registration with the Building Safety Regulator at Class 2 level and involves providing professional advice to applicants, designers and contractors whilst ensuring compliance with the Building Act 1984 and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator Class 2.
• Experience with building acts and building regulations.
• Ability to carry out site inspections across two boroughs.
