Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) in Newbury is seeking a Class 2 ADR Driver to join our team. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries of gas cylinders, ensure safe operations, and maintain high service standards. Shift patterns are Mon‑Fri with some Saturdays, 7am–5pm, with some overtime.

Immediate start and ongoing until April 2027, with development opportunities. Competitive pay (£17.70/h base, £26.55/h OT), guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly, plus bonuses up to £1,000 per year and 28 days’ holiday.

Qualifications

• ADR Class 2 licence and gas cylinder handling experience.
• Digi card and DCPC card
• Familiar with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Class 2 ADR Driver - Cylinders - Newbury

Are you a Class 2 ADR driver seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team at Newbury and enjoy:

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.70 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £26.55 Weekends paid at £26.55 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: up to £1000 in performance bonus twice a year

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until April 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
