Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting a Class 2 ADR driver for a position in Bury Saint Edmunds. You will deliver gas cylinders with multi-drop runs, maintaining safety and client standards, and providing excellent customer service.

The role runs Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays in busy periods. Hours are typically 7am–5pm, with overtime as required. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card and DCPC card are required.
• ADR licence in class 2 for packaging.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Cylinder Driver - Class 2 ADR Driver - Bury Saint Edmunds

Competitive Pay: Earn £18.29 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £27.44 Weekends paid at £27.44 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: Performance-based bonus of up to £1000 twice a year

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of April 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
