We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 (C) ADR Driver on a Temp to Perm basis.

Job Description and Requirements:

  • Collecting clinical waste from healthcare sites in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Must be fit and healthy, as the position requires loading and unloading 770ltr wheeled bins onto and off the vehicle.
  • Excellent customer service skills, supporting the NHS.
  • Good standard of English, written and verbal.

You will play a key role in transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the UK, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service. Flexibility is essential, including nights away in a company sleeper cab if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste nationwide, ensuring compliance with ADR and environmental regulations.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload materials in line with legal and safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and manage tachograph records.
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and report incidents as per company procedures.
  • Liaise with site managers and attend vehicle inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with HGV C entitlement.
  • Driver CPC and ADR (packages 6.1 and 6.2).
  • Willingness to work away from home during the week.
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and environmental standards.

Desirable:

  • Experience in waste logistics.
  • Availability for occasional weekend work.
