Job summary

Hunter James Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established national organisation in recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver ADR on a day shift, based on site in Liverpool. The role involves delivering goods, performing vehicle checks, and ensuring compliance with drivers hours regulations. A minimum HGV Class 2 Licence and an ADR licence are required.

The position offers a salary of £38,000–£40,000 per year plus company benefits, with a full-time on-site contract and parking facilities available.

Qualifications

• Experience of HGV Driving is essential.
• Minimum of an HGV Class2 Licence.
• ADR Licence required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with drivers hours and working time regulations.
• Deliver goods to various locations as per scheduled routes, maintaining punctuality.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure loading is safe for transport following loading.
• Maintain accurate delivery records including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients on delivery.

We are proud to working alongside our client, a well‑established national organisation with their search for a HGV Class2 Driver ADR on Day shift to be based on site in Liverpool

What does the role involve?

• Operate your vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all drivers hours and working time regulations.
• Deliver goods to various locations as per the scheduled routes, maintaining punctuality.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Ensure that following loading your vehicle is in a safe condition for transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit whilst using the company online platform.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery

Your Experience

• Experience of HGV Driving is essential
• Successful candidates must possess a minimum of an HGV Class2 Licence
• Can multi‑Task and prioritise duties.
