Job summary

Driver Hire in Caernarfon is seeking a Class 2 ADR driver for a temporary role covering peak period until April 2027. The job operates on a 4 on 2 off rota with 7.00am starts and typically 10–12 hour days.

Responsibilities include delivering gas cylinders across North Wales/Chester, maintaining safety standards, vehicle checks, and completing deliveries. Training is provided; a driver mentor is available for induction.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 2 ADR and gas Class 2 certificate for packages and tanked goods.
• CPC/Driver Qualification Card and tachograph card are required.
• ADR knowledge for gas cylinders handling is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high Health & Safety standards for ADR operation.
• Deliver gas cylinders across North Wales/Chester and nearby areas.
• Complete vehicle checks and deliveries.
• Attend induction as a driver mentor will be provided.
• Ensure adherence to schedule during 4 on 2 off rota.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 ADR driver for our client based in Caernarfon to work a 4 on 2 off shift with a 7.00am Start, typically 10/12 hr days, this is a temp contract to cover there peak period and will end April 2027

The role involves:

• Maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety for both ADR and Operation of the vehicle.
• Delivery of Gas Cylinders across North Wales/Chester and surrounding areas
• Training-a driver mentor will be provided for the induction
• Vehicles Checks.
• Completing Deliveries.

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.10 per hour or (£19.16ph adv), overtime rates of £25.70 (£28.80ph adv) Weekends paid at £25.70 (£28.80ph adv)

Flexible Shifts: 4 on 2 off rota .

You will need:

• Class 2 Licence
• Current ADR certificate with ADR in gasses Class 2 in packages and tanked goods
• Full & Valid CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
