As a Class 2 / 18 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver with DPD, you will be the "face of our company", tasked with delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role demands a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Executing multi-drop collections and deliveries within the designated local area with precision and efficiency
• Adhering strictly to time-critical deadlines and predetermined collection schedules
• Maintaining accurate records of all journeys and deliveries
• Representing DPD with the utmost professionalism and integrity at all times
• Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
• Promptly reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
• Safely loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods during transit
• Adhering to all relevant road traffic laws and company policies, including working time directives and tachograph regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle interior and exterior
• Participating in regular safety briefings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulations
• Collaborating effectively with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Providing constructive feedback to improve delivery processes and customer experience
