Qube Recruitment in Warrington is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) for ongoing trunking work. You will operate modern vehicles on depot-to-depot movements between depots and customer locations.

The role focuses on safety and efficiency: vehicle checks, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork, and adhering to drivers' hours. Start times range from 12:00 to 00:00, with weekly pay and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Prior Class 1 driving experience required.
• Good understanding of driver compliance and safety regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete HGV Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer sites.
• Move trailers between depots and customer locations.
• Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Adhere to drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
