Job summary

Genuit Group plc is seeking a professional driver to operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe, policy-aligned manner. You will perform pre-shift checks, arrange repairs, and ensure all goods are loaded and secured for highway travel with proper documentation.

The role requires maintaining tachograph records, complying with driver hours, and supporting the transport team. Expect 2–3 nights away weekly and involvement in induction of new agency staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid licences required for the role.
• Meet health and eyesight requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles and operate equipment safely and in line with policies and legislation.
• Carry out pre-operation vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks; report defects.
• Arrange repairs via running sheet instructions and take defective vehicle to repair.
• Load and secure product for travel in line with legislative guidance.
• Maintain documentation and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure tachograph records and drivers hours are compliant for the last 28 days.
• Be away for 2–3 nights per week.
• Contribute to team and assist with induction of new staff.
