The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team for nationwide deliveries and collections. You will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, perform daily checks, secure loads, and maintain accurate paperwork while liaising with planners, customers and site personnel.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, have strong communication skills, and be willing to tramp away from home during the week to meet schedules and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Good communication and professional attitude are essential.
• Willingness to be away from home during the week (tramping) is required.

Responsabilités

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for long‑distance deliveries and collections.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Liaise with transport planners, customers and site personnel.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours and Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

The Best Connection are recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced

Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team.

This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for long-distance deliveries and collections.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Liaise with transport planners, customers, and site personnel.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Willingness to work away from home during the week (tramping)
• £25 Night-Out Allowance (per night)
• Supportive team environment
