Job summary

AWI Civitas in Ely, Cambridgeshire is seeking reliable Class 1 Tramper Drivers for long-distance deliveries. You will stay out overnight and present the client professionally while on the road.

Various shift patterns and start dates are available, with great rates of pay up to £21.76 an hour. Requirements include a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 6 months of Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 tramping experience is a plus.
• At least 6 months of Class 1 experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.
• A professional, reliable approach.
• Comfortable with nights away.
• No more than six penalty points, with no major endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out long-distance deliveries.
• Stay out overnight when required.
• Represent our clients professionally on the road.
