Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 Tramping drivers for ongoing work based in Rotherham. Positions offer mornings, afternoons and nights with 8–10 hour shifts, trunking depot-to-depot, and a mandatory induction after assessment. Benefits include pension, holiday pay, and free on-site parking.

Applicants must hold a valid C+E licence for at least 6 months, have CPC and Digi Tacho, and a clean licence with no more than 6 points. Nights and weekend rates apply.

Responsibilities

Grafters Recruit Ltd is looking for experienced Class 1 Tramping drivers for ongoing work base in Rotherham

DUTIES:

• Mornings / Afternoons and Nights all available - various start times to suit.
• Length shifts between 8-10 hours - longer runs can be available if desired.
• Clean Trunking work - depot to depot
• Each driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction.
• Drivers when tramping can use SNAP parking and are heavily encouraged to do so, which envelopes nearly all service stations in the UK, we do require all drivers to park up in service stations at the end of their shifts, for three reasons, their security, the loads security, and the fuel in the unit's security.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Valid C+E category on your driving licence, held for 6 months
• Minimum 3 months driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Valid driver CPC qualified
• Valid Digi Tacho Card

Rates of pay are:

PAYE:

• £17.76 days
• £18.88 nights
• £19.61 sat
• £20.45 sun
• The night out allowance is £26.60

The rates are split so if they start before 6am they get paid nights until 6am if they start between 18:00pm and 06:00am

• Nights rate starts from 18:00pm-6am
• Day rate is between 6am-18:00pm
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
