Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 Tramping drivers for ongoing work based in Rotherham. The role offers morning, afternoon and night starts with 8–10 hour shifts and longer runs available.

Job Summary

Duties

• Mornings / Afternoons and Nights all available - various start times to suit.
• Length shifts – between 8-10 hours - longer runs can be available if desired.
• Clean Trunking work - depot to depotEach driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction.

Drivers when tramping can use SNAP parking and are heavily encouraged to do so, which envelopes nearly all service stations in the UK, we do require all drivers to park up in service stations at the end of their shifts, for three reasons, their security, the loads security, and the fuel in the unit's security.

Required Experience

• Valid C+E category on your driving licence, held for 6 months
• Minimum 3 months driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Valid driver CPC qualified
• Valid Digi Tacho Card

Pay

Rates of pay are: PAYE: £17.76 days £18.88 nights £19.61 sat £20.45 sun. The night out allowance is £26.60.

The rates are split so – if they start before 6am – they get paid nights until 6am if they start between 18:00pm and 06:00am. Nights rate starts from 18:00pm-6am. Day rate is between 6am-18:00pm.
