Job summary

Sysco Canada Inc. is seeking a Class 1 Delivery Driver to service our customers with professional, safe, and timely deliveries. The role requires driving a tractor trailer, unloading goods, and maintaining accurate delivery records while upholding Sysco’s safety and food safety standards.

Ongoing responsibilities include communicating with management, handling invoices, and ensuring customer satisfaction across every delivery.

Qualifications

• Safely operate vehicle in varied conditions and routes.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution.
• Plan and organize work activities with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with management and customers.
• Adhere to MOT regulations and Sysco policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.
• Inform management of deviations.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated areas.
• Lift/move product up to 45 kg; maneuver pallets.
• Operate Sysco STS delivery system and obtain customer signatures.
• Collect payments where required and complete paperwork.
• Complete MOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Follow safety procedures and food safety SOPs.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties.
