Job summary

Driver Hire Dartford is seeking an experienced Class 1 Bulk Metal Waste Tipper Driver for a Northfleet-based role. You will operate LGV1 tipper vehicles, transport and tip metal waste safely, and perform daily vehicle checks in line with site procedures.

Requirements include a Full UK Driving Licence, valid Category C+E, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and proven tipper experience. Schedule is Monday to Friday, day shifts, with pay £20 per hour (PAYE Advanced) and regular ongoing work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV1 Vehicles (Class 1) and operate bulk metal waste tipper vehicles

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Follow loading/tipping procedures and health & safety rules
• Ensure loads are secured and regulations (tachograph) are followed

Class 1 Bulk Metal Waste Tipper Driver - Northfleet

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (LGV 1) Tipper Drivers for our client based in Northfleet. The role involves driving bulk metal waste tipper vehicles, with drivers responsible for the safe transportation and tipping of metal waste. Previous experience operating Class 1 tipper is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular, ongoing work.

Class 1 Driver Position Details

• Start Date: Urgent
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts
• Location: Northfleet
• Pay: £20 per hour (PAYE Advanced - Minimum 8 hours' pay per day)

Class 1 Tipper Driver Duties

• Driving LGV 1 Vehicles (Category C+E / Class 1)
• Operating bulk metal waste tipper vehicles
• Transporting and tipping metal waste safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Following all loading and tipping procedures
• Ensuring loads are transported securely and safely
• Complying with WTR and tachograph regulations
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition
• Working professionally and responsibly at all times

Class 1 Tipper Driver Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Previous tipper experience - ESSENTIAL
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
