You will transport bulk materials to customer sites across the region, adhere to safety standards, and maintain excellent driving records. A stable career path awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (CE) licence required and NPQC, CPC and Tachograph credentials.
• Solid knowledge of transport legislation and driver compliance.
• Proven bulk tipper driving experience (minimum 6 months).
• Reliable, professional with excellent timekeeping and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (CE) bulk tipper vehicle in line with legislation and procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver bulk materials safely, on schedule and with secure loads.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain vehicle documentation.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures on sites and roads.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and site staff.
• Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Bulk Tipper Driver looking for reliable, ongoing work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

We're recruiting professional and dependable drivers to join a busy and well-established operation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers who take pride in delivering high standards, value safety and compliance, and want long-term career stability.

You'll be working with a modern fleet, carrying out dedicated bulk tipper work, with a straightforward induction process and no driving assessment required before you start.

The Role

As a Class 1 Bulk Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk materials to customer sites across the region while maintaining excellent driving standards and representing the business professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (CE) bulk tipper vehicle in line with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle walk-round checks and report any defects.
• Deliver bulk materials safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported in accordance with industry regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures on customer sites and public roads.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and site personnel.
• Comply with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and company policies at all times.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence.
• Minimum 6 months' proven bulk tipper driving experience.
• Valid NPQC Card.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Safe Urban Driving (SUD) Certificate, or proof that the course is booked before your start date.
• Good knowledge of transport legislation, driver compliance and vehicle safety.
• A reliable, professional attitude with excellent timekeeping.
