Job summary

Unicorn Recruitment Limited in Peterborough is seeking a Class 1 Liquid Tanker Driver for a permanent role with a set Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern. The position involves nationwide collection and delivery of liquid waste, animal feed and aggregates, with a salary of £32,500 and night out pay of £25 per night.

You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, maintaining a professional customer service standard, and loading/tipping as required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily checks and keep the vehicle presentable and roadworthy.
• Provide customers with a positive, professional service and deliver goods on time.
• Load and tipping as required.
• Be mindful of vehicle weight, dimensions, and road restrictions for safety and efficiency.
