Contract Personnel Limited are recruiting a Class 1 Driver near Newmarket. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries of steel products across the region, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with tachograph rules.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph, plus a professional, customer‑focussed approach and the ability to work independently. Market demands are for a reliable driver within a busy, growing operation.

Formación

• Valid Class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Experience handling steel products is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules and load security.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a company vehicle on multi-drop delivery routes.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep load safe and secure.
• Follow planned delivery schedules and update Transport Office on delays.
• Load and unload steel products safely at customer sites.
• Deliver materials accurately and provide high levels of customer service.
• Follow road, tachograph and health & safety legislation.
