Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our Liverpool operation. You will move trailers between depots and local port facilities, ensuring safe, efficient operations and strict adherence to safety standards.

The role involves positioning trailers for loading, maintaining daily vehicle checks, and working closely with port personnel to optimise trailer flow. A UK C+E licence, CPC, and tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Class 1 vehicles in yard/port environments.
• Valid UK C+E licence and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card required.

Responsibilities

• Shunt trailers between the depots and port terminals.
• Position trailers for loading and onward transport.
• Conduct daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Ensure movements are completed safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Collaborate with traffic planners and port staff to maintain trailer flow.
