At Dunsters Farm, we’re offering just that. We’re seeking a Class 1 Nights Trunk Driver to join our Oswestry team .

You’ll be working on a permanent basis, on a 5-day Sun-Thurs shift pattern, contracted to 40hrs per week, with start times between 10:00pm and 06:00am. This role will require flexibility on your working week as some days will be longer than others.

As a Class 1 Trunk Driver, you’ll receive:

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Distributing frozen and ambient goods during the evening between both sites
  • Ensure vehicle checks and defects are completed prior to starting your journey each day and take action as required.
  • Collect any paperwork for goods distributed.
  • Check off all goods at point of delivery with the loading team.
  • Assist with Loading and Unloading
  • Adhere to health & safety and road traffic regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain contact with the office and report any issues back to the relevant person.
  • Maintaining and recording product and vehicle temperatures.
  • Keeping your vehicle and trailer clean and tidy, ensuring it is washed on a weekly basis and brushed inside and out.
  • Refuel your vehicle daily and record fuel drawn.

What we are looking for:

  • Class 1 License
  • Manual handling experience (desirable)
  • Good driving record and correct license (essential)
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • The ability to complete record sheets and paperwork.
  • Flexible and ‘can do’ attitude
