Job summary

DX Network Services in the UK is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver to join our night network at EX2 7HY. This permanent, full-time role focuses on transporting goods to and from customers' premises and central hubs, ensuring on-time deliveries within the DX delivery network.

Qualifications

HGV 1/C+E licence holder with valid DCPC.
No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
Must hold a current DCPC card.

Responsibilities

Transport goods to and from customers' premises and central hubs within the DX network.
Manage on-road routes to achieve time-sensitive deliveries.
Drive in a safe and legal manner and comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation.
Carry out necessary vehicle checks and report defects when required.

Role summary:

To transport goods to and from customers' premises, and our central hubs, into the DX delivery network. This role requires the ability to work to deadlines and to manage on-road routes in order to achieve time-sensitive deliveries.

Key responsibilities

Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
Understand and be able to comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation
Understand and be able to carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and to be able to report defects correctlyMust comply with on-site health and safety requirements
Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from the hub as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate
