Job description

We’re looking for

full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to join us at our site in Milton Keynes.

Pay, benefits and more.

You’ll be working on our prestigious night network contract for Mercedes, delivering vehicle parts to dealerships. You’ll be working a minimum of 48 hours per week on the Monday to Friday shift, with start times between 1930hrs and 2200hrs. In return, we’ll offer average earnings of 42,000, plus the opportunity to increase this with readily available overtime. What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Making multi drops to secure locations on a nightly basis to deliver car parts.
2. You will be a key holder for each location and will open and close the site for each delivery.
3. There is a large amount of manual handling involving cages, so you must be physically fit.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

1. We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
2. You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
3. A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
4. Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
