Job description

CLASS 1 DRIVERS REQUIRED

We are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers for night trunk runs starting from 16:30 (4:30 pm). This role is based in Poole and involves delivering next-day parcels for businesses across the country.

Applicants must have recent experience recorded on their digi tacho within the last year.

Shift Details:

• Minimum of 6 hours pay per shift
• Start times between 17:30 and 18:30
• Approximate shift length of 8 hours, with no fixed finish time
• Ad hoc shifts available from Monday to Sunday, with potential for ongoing work

Responsibilities include:

• Performing 15-minute vehicle checks
• Using electronic systems to log routes
• Driving Class 1 vehicles to and from hubs for loading or unloading

Pay and Overtime:

• Pay rate: £20.50 - £21.00 per hour (dependent on contract)
• Overtime available on certain shifts

Requirements:

• Full CAT CE Driving Licence
• Valid Digi Tacho and CPC
• Previous Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD/IN/DR)
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
