Job description

The position of Class 1 Night Driver involves:

• Delivering to retail stores using curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
• Planning routes on a daily basis.
• Completing daily vehicle checks using your company phone.
• Maintaining regular contact with the transport team for updates and managing customer expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Driver:

• UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated due to the role's nature.

Why Gregory Distribution?

• Basic salary for Class 1 Night Driver is £42,000 per annum, based on 48 hours/week, including a shift allowance of £17.50 per shift for shifts starting between 12:00 and 02:00.
