Job description

Excellent opportunity for a Class 1 night driver in Avonmouth, Bristol.

We are currently looking for a Class 1 / HGV 1 Driver to join the team in Avonmouth, Bristol, you will be driving a Class 1 vehicle completing trunk runs. Starting at 8pm a typical shift could be up to 9 hours, working Monday to Friday.

You will need to check the load is secure, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved as the truck is loaded and unloaded for you by Forklift, you will only need to open the curtain.

This is a good opportunity for ongoing Class 1 / HGV 1 work, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• 18 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
• Working Monday to Friday starting at 8pm and usually working 9 hours.
• Occasional overtime available at weekend, paid at an enhanced rate.

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
• Valid Tacho and CPC.
