Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a diligent milk transport driver to collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver to the dairy. The role includes collecting milk samples and labelling them for testing, with occasional transhipment duties and a focus on on-time deliveries.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, stay compliant with safety standards, and communicate updates to the transport team. Training is provided to support your success and a strong team culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with milk tankers would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
• Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.

Responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver to the dairy on time.
• Collect milk samples during farm collections and label accurately for lab testing.
• Handle farm collections and occasional transhipment tasks.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and maintain client satisfaction.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and stay compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and participate in training sessions.
