Job summary

Driver Hire in Chester is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join the team for on-site delivery and service support of Medical Units across the UK and beyond. You may work alone or as part of a deployment team to ensure units are deployed and serviced to the highest standards.

Main duties include driving the medical vehicle to sites, setting up equipment, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining high vehicle standards. Flexible working and extended travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good organisational abilities and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication with site contacts and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
• DBS check is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Medical vehicle or service unit to sites on schedule.
• Set up vehicle and equipment per standard layout; ensure correct positioning.
• Maintain vehicle presentation and livery to a high standard.
• Report discrepancies or damage to Transport Manager and line manager.
• Travel throughout the UK and Overseas as required; adhere to Health and Safety guidelines.
